  • A political and spiritual leader of Republic of India, leader of Indian independence Movement, won WPPAC`s Commemorative Top Honor Prize, for seeding Non-Protestant movement(Ahimsa) bearing a non-violence peace movement for India. He was the pioneer of Satyagraha—a philosophy that is largely concerned with truth and `resistance to evil through active, non-violent resistance`—which led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. The Award Ceremony was held at the Grand Conference Hall of Seoul Press Center on the date of Aug.20th, 2003 in the presence of WPPAC Judges. The Award was received by Dr.Ramjee Singh, the director of Gandhian Institue of Studies, Mahatma Gandhi`s grandson.
