    H.H. DORJE CHANG BUDDHA III is recognized by the World Peace Prize Awarding Council for his selfless devotion to an immensely wide scope of healing and rescue-relief activities directed at people from different communities throughout the world. His wisdom and benevolence embrace all races, ethnicities, cultures and religions: bringing kindness, peace and equality to all. Wherever he goes, His Holiness brings unity amongst people through His own humility and compassion. His life-long contributions to humanity are living examples of the benevolent spirit of Buddha, setting a model of humanitarian practices for all to emulate. His Holiness`noble character is manifested through His teachings, healing, art and philanthropy; leading people from all walks of life and from different parts of the world to walk the path of high virtue and charity. His Holiness’ thinking and accomplishments has become the spiritual and cultural asset of all humankind.

    The Buddha is also a distinguished artist. Through his teachings and practices, art and poetry, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has pointed out a bright path of non-violence, charity and love for humanity. He has been the recipient of numerous awards including the United States Presidential Gold Award for his outstanding contributions to arts, medicine, ethics, Buddhism and spiritual leadership, and to American society. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the first Buddhist leader to be awarded the World Peace Prize.

    H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the Buddhist leader of the highest order: the Buddha Vajradhara, true incarnation of the primordial Buddha of the Buddhist faith, recognized and corroborated as such in accordance with Buddhist rules and governance by writings from the leaders, regent dharma kings and great rinpoches of all major sects of Buddhism around the world. His outstanding mastery of exoteric Buddhism and esoteric Buddhism is unprecedented in Buddhist history. He is the first person who has achieved truly perfect accomplishments at the acme of the Five Vidyas.

    The Buddha leads by example the daily practice of selflessness, charity, and humility. People from all over the world regard H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III as their model, His moral state as their standard, and His teachings as their guide. The discourses of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III on Buddha-dharma have become a social thought system and philosophy. Those who practice His teachings naturally become committed to the public interests of society, bringing joy and relief to local and international communities, promoting peace and equality in humanity.

    The revered Buddha has vowed to bear the sufferings of all living beings. In His own words, published in The Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation, “I bear all of the negative karma, sins, and offenses of living beings. I give to you all of the good karma and merit that I have planted.” Many people offer great fortunes in gratitude and appreciation for His Holiness’ teaching, but H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III adheres to His steadfast principle and His vow to never accept any offerings in His lifetime from anyone. Rather, He always practices charity and relief to those in need without compensation, and thus has become the most outstanding role model in the entire history of Buddhism.
